Come installare EPEL repository su CentOS 7

In questo tutorial, vediamo come abilitare repository EPEL su CentOS 7.

Installare EPEL repository

[root@gidalo ~]# cat  /etc/centos-release
CentOS Linux release 7 (Core)

Scarica EPEL e installalo usando il comando yum come segue:

yum install http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/x86_64/e/epel-release-7-7.noarch.rpm

NB. è possibile che la versione ‘epel-release-7-7.noarch.rpm’ possa essere stata aggiornata ad una release nuova da quando è stato postato questo articolo, controllate ed eventualmente scaricate la nuova.

Oppure, installare Epel tramite YUM:

yum install epel-release

Esempio di output:

Verificare se EPEL repository è installato:
